Chemical Casualty Care Division
The Chemical Casualty Care Division offers joint services medical training, recognized as the gold-standard, for first responders, all levels of medical practitioners and hospital executives responding to and preparing for chemical incidents throughout the nation. The MRICD Chemical Casualty Care Division (CCCD) is the proponent for three professional development, in-residence courses offered to joint warfighters and civilian counterparts. We work closely with our partners at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (MRIID) to conduct the Medical Management of Chemical and Biological Casualties Course (MCBC), the Field Management of Chemical and Biological Casualties Course (FCBC) and the Hospital Management of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive Incidents Course (HM-CBRNE). These courses have been identified by the Accountability Office as the gold standard in training for medical management of chemical and biological casualties. Priority goes to deploying units and those tasked with missions that have a higher potential for contact with CBRNE hazards.
